Up until relatively recently, the measuring stick for fencing footage read "something is better than nothing." Perhaps out of natural technological evolution or perhaps because the sport is growing, we'd like to raise that bar at least a little bit. As this is indefinitely an amateur organization, we won't strike perfection in all our goals, like organization, high visual fidelity, consistent tournament presence, critical bout commentary, and large volume. But we figure if we push the boundaries in as many areas as we can, things will only get better for everyone. A feature that is not one of our immediate goals is to provide a space for community discussion and comments, a function that fencing.net does really well here.
